Promises, promises. Promises we made to others or things we promised to ourselves... I believe that whether it is a big thing or just a tiny detail each broken promise drains a little energy from us. (Do you know that annoying feeling or even guilt when you suddenly remember you did not keep your word...?!) I also think that there is a promise monster somewhere out there being fed by the promises we broke.

"Promises you broke" is an art project about all those promises we make but never keep. Work generated through this project currently comprises drawings, photographs, videos and objects. Great deal of the project stands in direct communication with people in the streets. So far most of it took place in Dublin (Ireland), London (UK), Edinburgh (UK), Barcelona (Spain) and Bratislava (Slovakia). I hope that once it is up and running this web page will help me to extend the geographical boundaries of my project and reach many more people than I could ever approach in person.

I may include them into some of my works/drawings. If this would be the case I promise to e-mail you a photograph of the result (including or inspired by your broken promise).
